Evil Riverbed
(June 1992)

Snake on your arm. . .
Lion on your breast
Dawn by the water
Where the river flows
That craggy rock suits you
Perfectly
Long red fingernails scraping
Through your hair
Slithering
Weaving through your hair --
Tear a lock and drop it
Into the water let it float
Into a nest of snakes
Slithering down you up and down
Beside the water. . .
Eating love. . . you love to eat your love--
Slither your snakes around
Their body and put lions in their beds
